Most common size of board you'll see erected will be 6" wide by 1" thick, these boards are available in 1.8m, 2.4m, 3.0m, 3.6m and 4.8m lengths. We also sell 4' wide and 8" wide boards, the size you choose comes down to personal preference.
How you decide to fit them is up to you, for privacy you can stagger the boards front and back and the width of the gap between the boards is entirely your choice as well. You'll commonly see these boards spaced apart when fitted to barns, this is to ensure airflow through the building.
If you would like advice feel free to call our sales team, they have experience installing these products and are happy to talk through your project. All our standard boards are pressure treated to extend their life span. When freshly treated the appearance of these boards are usually shades of green, these will soften over time turning into a golden brown and eventually silvering.
Any cut ends shoutd be treated to continue the 'seal' and extend the woods lifespan.
As per most timber/builder merchants, we are curbside delivery. You don’t need to be in, we’re happy to leave your items on your driveway or front garden as long as these are easily accessible for our drivers. Please note we cannot take goods through your house, up or down flights of steps or down alleyways round the back! This isn’t to be awkward, we don’t want to damage your property, the goods, or our staff! We hope you understand.
Once your items are bought and paid for we will get them out to you within the times specified above. You will receive an email notifying you of a 2-hour delivery window the day before your delivery is scheduled and will be able to track your driver on the day of delivery.

Returns…
Generally our customers are in when we deliver their timber products, so they can check them out to see the quality.
If you not happy with the quality of any of the products you receive, please let us know and we will have them refunded or replaced as soon as we can.

We pride ourselves on delivering good quality timber and we spend days upon days sourcing the best stuff we can find and still trying to keep it affordable!
If you are unsatisfied with the timber that’s been delivered please let us know within 48 hours and we can either refund or replace.
